Following through the Forest
She walked slowly, gazing with her eyes
at the surrounding landscape.
The birds whistled softly, the breeze gently lies
in a melodic awe.
The calm and pristine tranquility enveloped around
into a state of misperception.
And all she could do, was listen to the birds abound,
and watch the animals on the forest floor.
Blissfully unaware she was, everybody waiting
to alert her of her condition.
Perhaps due to their own ignorance in faking,
as they followed, dazed, behind.
In packs and in droves, they followed in the track
of the girl at the front.
Never complaining due to being at the back
no other way crossed their mind.
Presently she came to a chasm, this was where she was bringing
all the rest in the middle of the forest.
She stopped her wandering; the birds had stopped singing
their harmonious song.
As she turned around, only to check that
the masses were following blind.
So as she closed her eyes, she took one last step back
then all at once she was gone.

Ode to Love
Love, oh you shameless fiend
At first so innocent you seemed
Now hated and shunned as can be
You are a curse that none may see
Come bearing frankincense and gold
Appear so warm but turn ice cold
Take your mask of lovers thorns
And bear with contempt your rose's scorns
Hah, you speak of happiness?
Endless sweetness, endless bliss?
Oh you are indeed a whore
Fuck me once then ask for more
Take what's yours then take what's mine
Then leave me alone from time to time
Then once more some Autumn day
Return again and ask to play
And though I try to shun your face
I cannot resist your forbidden grace
Once more locked in your evil grip
My soul, my own, you begin to strip
Until I am but once again
A fool lying slain by the bane of men

Oh, noble apothecary
Come hither, and speak to thee
Dire is my need of thy services
Is love not governed by hate?
Drink thy poison and seal my fate
Be thoust not an apparition?
Then bestowest upon me a dagger
For which I may unsheath twixt my breast
Have I offended some malevolent god thus?
Then, I pray, show thyself
If in which capacity shall prove my demise
Then be it so, I pray
Oh gods of earth and sky
Deliver me from this evil of love
Where is my saviour? Where my noble poison?
Leave me here in suffering
The bitter agony that is love
This misserable torture epitomising thyself
Thou hateful wretch
Where is my dagger?
Will thou deny me even this?
